thought i would start a thread on this cabinet

originally it was in the darkgrain cabinet in my new toys thread. the lighter laminate cabinet was slightly better and more appealing to me so ive swapped over internals to make this wonderboy in monsterland

so far i need to rewire the newer CP up, add some overlay and clean up the coin door also

joystick is a NOS 80's 4 way stick i had lying around. just need to replace the ball top

ill add some new player buttons also (might try black ones this time around)

all wired up and had a few games

the other cabinet the CP wiring was a mess so couldnt play a proper game

now after playing it im not getting the right feel as i used to as a kid playing this game so will be listing for sale tonite in the sale section.

will replace it with a 48in1

well i decided to swap this to a 48 and sold the pcb off

so far ive changed monitor frames so i could have it rotated to vertical

not much else, have new harness, buttons, zippy and 48in1 board ordered. Added a new marquee fluro tube and that is all good

i removed the old metal overlay on the panel and will replace it with either overlay or powercoat

the plate polished up ok but looked dodgy the way it was setup.

so for now while i wait for parts doing little things like repainting the coindoor and monitor surround to neating things up

it lives as a 48

new boards,buttons,switches,harness are all in

took me a while to adjust the chassis as it had the screen control on the neckboard which i found about a hr later after tuning but all good.

just need the marquee and done.
