I have one of these Jamma wiring harness to rewire my cabinet with http://www.ozstick.com.au/prod_wiring.html

The harness has everything I need on it, but only one of the +5V connections has wiring to it, the Grounds on pins 27, 28, e & f aren't connected, and Video ground (pin 14) has no wiring.

Here are my options:
1) Leave it as is, it will still work, and if I need to connect video ground I can just connect video ground to ground where necessary.

2) Connect wiring for all the ground and +5V connections. To do this I will need to remove a couple of edge connector split pins that don't have wiring in them, and insert a few more split pins. Does anybody know how to get the pins out, or will this do the trick? http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=HT1884

Also I will need to get some split pins for the new wiring, any ideas on supplier/ part numbers?

I prefer option 2 because it gives me peace of mind because all the available voltage & ground paths are connected. However, if I am wasting my time worrying and should just use the harness as is, please let me know! Any thoughts???

I havent come across a jamma board that requried pin 14 to be wired, just leave it common ground.
