Hi all,
I started this project some nine months ago (quiet Gibo, Morrieman and Narf) with the intention of it being a 48 in 1. Somehow I convinced myself that a MAME cocktail is what I wanted and needed.

Yesterday I managed to complete the installation of the computer and wiring component of the project with a huge thankyou going to the following people:

Gibo for his work. :ty
Gibo and Morrieman for their 3 month + storage space. :jump:
Bettycrocker1942 for the MAME setup. :bad_ass:
Narf for having just as many (if not more) projects than me so the boys stop giving me crap about it. :jump:

The top in the following pictures is for photo purposes only and will be re-cut to suit 17" LCD.

A few adjustments to the cabinet shape have been made since initial pics were taken some months ago.....

The machine has Illuminated buttons and looks awesome at night, unfortunately I cannot get clear images of it working at night but will post when I work it out.

CP's are for layout purposes only and 2mm Powdercoated Aluminium ones should be ready for the change out next week after I strip it out and paint it during the next week. It will be high gloss black..........

Very nice work. Is it based on the leisure & allied cocktail design? It looks similar to the ones i played as a kid:D

Update.... More pics of painted top installed (this is ONLY the sample / dummy top and will be remade and cut in 16mm MDF). Cabinet needs to be stripped and repainted...... Top needs a polish to remove some fingerprints showing up in the pics below, however as its the dummy top I may not bother.....

My ALL TIME favourite game is loaded in the pics...........

Update.............
Extended the wires on the joystick (due to my F%$# up on the spacing between the buttons the JS). Installed both CP's and all systems are go !!!!!!!!!!!
Just need to strip and paint now, cut the new top and get me some tinted glass and all done............

Sorry about the blurry pics of the illuminated buttons but best I could do on short notice OK !!!!

Looking bloody nice mate. i love those buttons! i was planning on getting some for mine but was worried abut the cost and i prefer the old aussie arcade style (concave buttons). Are yours convex or concave?

Reckon I'll have to pull my finger out and finish mine off now ;)
