ok the ps2 just fell off the tv,damn kids and the power cord broke, the input is the same as the ps1 can i get away with using the ps1 cord in the ps2 or are there voltage issues

The power cord is just a figure 8 cord for the ps2 (same as on small stereos and stuff) so any that will fit will be fine.

PS1 is the same cable - when I replaced my PS1 with a PS2 all I had to do was use tha same plugs, as both the power and AV plugs were the same...

They're identical, bog-standard 240 cords. Go nuts.

Unless you are talking about a PStwo... which uses a power supply brick.

I think it puts out 12V, but I'm going from memory.

oh well, ps2 was ****ed and bought a new 1 from cashies today! im spewing as i only had it chipped 6 months ago but its completely cactus
