Howdy, Has anyone dealt with arcade emporium on ebay, seller ID is fragom450 ?

465 in 1 has a BIN for $350 ? Is that a good price?

He's a pretty good Ebayer, have used him before.
Price isn't bad, but I don't like those boards though. They have a flash card that stores the OS and games, and are cheap Chinese shit. Had never ending trouble with them and won't get another one again.
I'd go the 1069 in 1, which has most/all of the verticle games from the 465 in 1 anyway. You'll need to rotate the monitor, providing you can do it in your cabinet.

Damn, monitor is fixed vertical.

Sounds like those boards are not worth the hassle.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I agree with spacies - Not a great board - hard drive version is better

I had ro return it to the seller, as the flash card erased itself after 2 hrs also.

I lost out on the freight.

The games arent that good

No VGA is possible I beleive

No screen flip is possible

No Pacman by memory

Can't add games

The PCb is the same as the 1069in1 except it uses a CF card for the storage instead of a HDD... You can backup and recover but from experience the CF cards used are cheap B (Maybe C??:unsure) grade shit that clearly does not pass rigourous testing which is why they had now manufacturer labels on them.
If you buy a good flash card and copy over to it I am sure it will be fine....
Otherwise expect the CF card to **** up every two months giove or take...

You can have output to VGA by disconnecting the signal link to the top board, then plug your VGA cable into the lower board.
Good for testing.

I bought a card reader

But the flash card self destructed when I tried to read it.

Maybe Dorian (Gamedude) had better success

Is there anyone out there who has the backed up data on a disk already?

Good luck all

Backing them up is easy... just use the CF to IDE converter they are already in....
