There was one of these on Ebay in Melbourne a few months back. Didn't sell for much either.

If i remember right this 6 player version need two monitors to run.Still it would be fun to play with six mates and a few jim beans would be even better.

i thought there was another version - still 6 player, but it's like 2 of those cabs joined back to back. it was 3 players per side and had 2 screens. now that's big.

Yep your right, I read the story from the link (click on BIG)
"X-Men is the only arcade game I know of that actually used 2 full CRTs to provide a nice wide-screen effect"

Not sure if I like the look, but it would've been great fun

that game is kick ass - good old dreamcast. but the machine isn't much bigger than your normal drivers.

Ninja Warriors used 2 (or was it 3) ... Didn't R-Type 2 use 2 as well?

I have a "Punch-Out" and that has two 19in monitors stacked on top of each other.

Not to mention the Sega Mega Tech (from my first post) which uses 2 also.

the playchoice 10 (possibly the punch out you are referring to) used two screen stacked on op of each other. Once screen help game info, instructions and the creidt info whilst the other screen displayed the game. The playchoice came in a single monitor version as well

They had one of these Xmen cabs in timezone on pitt st back in the early 90's. The concept was neat but it was a very busy game, you didn't want to get stuck in the bit of the game between the two screens andit got hard to keep track of the action.
