I am looking into buying a cabinet for MAME that has been stripped back to wood

How do I go about getting the artwork done for side panels and the banner / marquee ? Do I buy stickers and if so from where ?

Im not much of an artists, so I think that stickers or panels / posters that I can stick to it would work well

I am keen on using Galaxian artwork if possible.

thanks

That site looks good - it lets you download artwork image files.

Im hoping to BUY printed panels or stickers for the side, marquee and maybe the front panel

Do any places sell those or do you have to download the artwork then find a company that will print them for you ?

If you need to use a printer company, can anyone recommend one in Perth or one that will ship to Perth

Thanks !

Shop around there are printing shops in Perth that will print them up for you if you have quality artwork files or you can get them here already done

something you need to take into account is the different shape cabs the yanks had to our generic ones

Thanks. I guess Ill have to provide careful measurements when I go to the printers. They will probably print it to a rectangular area, but I can cut it out to fit

Do you want your own custom look or do you want to particular design?

If it's you want something quick & simple I would be happy to set up the art file for you.

I would need a few photos & measurements of your cab.

you wont need to cut, just make sure when you goto a print shop they can can "contour cut" with digital prints. Makes it a neat job with nice smooth curves etc

Thanks guys and thanks for offer Playwell.

Im going for a retro look rather than an exact replica. So getting it exactly right doesnt matter.

Im still looking for a company in Perth that will print the artwork. If anyone knows a Printer or Sign Writer (that creates signs with a computer printer) that they can recommend for this sort of work, please let me know.

GALAXIAN
www.LocalArcade.com has artwork files for Galaxian

Mate, is this offer open to anybody else because I would like to enlist your help. Have got a cabinet built but I have absolute no visual arts skills, so I am looking for suggestions.....
