I'm in the process of downloading preview movies for most MAME games. Little 30 second(ish) videos of the game in action.

I know Mamewah will display the videos as previews of the games. Does anyone know any other frontends which will also display them?

3D Arcade does for sure and I think Atomic, Kymaera & Dragon King do as well.

3D Arcade in my opinion is the best looking front end going around and recently I put a lot of effort into setting it up just how I want it on my desktop computer but when I transferred it to my mame cab that now runs a pentium 3 (733) it ran way too slow, so I've reverted back to Mamewah for my cab. :(

As far as the other frontends I've mentioned above I haven't tried any of them.

AdvanceMenu will play MNGs (like PNGs but moving). I've got a mate who has a cabs et up with AdvanceMenu and Crashtest's MNG pack. It looks great, especially in screensaver mode with the MNGs running randomly.

I got mine from

http://full.pleasuredome.org.uk/

login, goto torrents and search for 'intro vids'

You should then see a file called 'MAME 0.106 Intro Vids'. Click and then download. It's 3.44GB in size but downloads quite quickly.

There might be easier ways but that's how I did it.

Cheers.

I use Maximum Arcade and it has most things you would want from a menu driven arcade menu system. Check it out.
