Neo geo vertical colapse

Slypinball

Question

Hey guy

I pick up a neo geo lowboy today that has a vertical colapse by the looks of it.

Now it has this tube and chassis in the machine.

Now the lady i got it from said it was working for 12month then died one day.

What should i look at first.

With the machine turned off, compare the readings on the vertical and horizontal transistors with your meter in diode mode.

If the vertical is shorted or open then it will need to be replaced.

It is more likely to have a vertical output IC than a single transistor.

I vote send to Jomac as well.
