      SNES YPbPr Mod Problem

      Hi there

I have just finished the component YPbPr mod on my 1992 SNSP-CPU-01 SNES. I have connected red to pin1 and blue to pin24 on the S-ENC chip. I have green connected to pin7 on the AV multi out. No resistors, caps or and thing of that nature added.
The issue I'm having is that the image is black and white when using component cables, color is fine using the provided AV multi cable.
Anyone have any thoughts on what i'm might be doing wrong?

      Cheers, Ben

Just noticed that the component inputs on my CRT TV are labelled YCbCr? I guess these aren't comfortable with YPbPr.

I think so, I didn't know enough about it. I test my SNES last night on a different TV that was labelled YPbPr and it's colour, a bit washed out though. I was really hoping to use it on my CRT, might have to use S-video instead.

Maybe output rgb and use a transcoder?

      Nah mate, Launceston.
This was supposed to be a cheap and dirty mod on old yellow SNES, you know switches and RCA plugs every where.
