Apologies for the noob question, but I think one of the wiser members can help me work out what it actually is.
It displays fine with a Calamity PC and a regular Jamma connection but I can't get it to detect in Windows/WinIpac/Notepad. I do have an Unknown Device listed in Device Manager which may be related.

Seems like an imitation of some sort.
