PINBALL MUSEUM...in outback Nhill!

Recommended Posts

Why would you check pinside for an Australian pinball site? I would think local knowledge would be far more accurate?

Yeah that Pinside is not accurate. I was ACTUALLY there yesterday. You need to actually go there. The guy was still setting things up so he has only just moved in there. Family business. Good quality games.

Thatś 30 minutes from me & I never knew about it.

Also on the same bus route as your place is from MEL.

Could be something to think about when your games room is finished and you want to run an IFPA comp.

Cheers,

G

Itś 1hour 30minute from my place, I took a drive out to see it. Itś not really a Museum as the machines are all 1990 models & up, also no history or EMś. However the machines are in good nik & working. The Museum ¨Cough Cough¨ is just a way of beating the council paperwork & other hassles if you were to set up a true arcade in the district. If you did hold a comp there you could sleep there too as the prime business is a Motel.

Seen the sign on weekend when driving ADL to MEL

Wife was asleep and woke up just as I pulled upto the sign after doing a sharp u-turn in a relocation hippy van.

Whats wrong whats wrong, Me excitedly pointing to the sign in the middle of no where :)

Had a few games here on the machines I havent played. Its $1 a game for all older games or $2 for the LE's Startrek & Magneto X-men

bunch of pinball signed translites and framed signed things

Yes, great spot to take a break if driving from Adelaide to Melbourne. $20 in change goes a long way with most of the machines at $1 per play.

Finally played a Banzai Run, and also an early Kiss. so some machines I had never touched before :)

Had to drag Andrew away who would have talked and talked and talked to Simon (The Owner) all day. Definitely worth a stop and I will be back.
