The Angels Logo vectorised

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. I'm in need of help to vectorise a logo for my shed. I want to get this cut out of steel and can't seem to get it smooth enough. I've seen some of the great work some of you guys do and wondered if someone could help me. i tried vector magic and an online program but it's not smooth enough. This is the image and I'm only after the words The Angels done. Can't seem to find a better image to work with either. Any help would be great.

I don't have a AI file viewer. PDF would be better. Just the outline of the words would be great.

Do you need an outline? Or colour? or ??

Can you view the ai file, or is a pdf better?

I don't have an ai porgram. outline of the words is what im after.thanks.

My outline program is not the best

Maybe @spacies can help there

This is what I did, made it really huge and converted to black & white

Hey Dez. Not sure. I was gonna get the logo cut out in steel about 1000mm in diameter if that helps.

That looks pretty cool. i tried inkscape but couldn't work out how to to do it...

Open the jpg file.

You use the "Draw Bezier curves and straight lines " tool in inscape.

Then delete the jpg from the inscape page and your left with your outline.

Its a vector drawing program and can make dxf cut files for cutter plotters.

Took me about 20 minutes for the rough one pasted in my first response.
