- "S.H.I.E.L.D" mystery award now advances Bonus X by "1" instead of "3".

and no mention of info changes in status

Yeah, no more 2B+ scores.

 

I think I will leave mine as is.

 

I'd be tempted if I had a score like that, but I can`t help but feel it's probably better for the game. Whilst it took decent skill to play that way and be rewarded, it was pretty dull eh?

 

I used to work Timmychap up pretty heavily when I played it that way for comps.

Fixed a problem where Mystery add-a-ball would not add a ball into play if

the only available ball to add was in the Loki lock.

- fixed a problem with the Loki lock post double firing as balls pass thru the lock.

- fixed a problem where the Loki lock did not properly maintain balls as balls

transitioned thru the lock area during multiball events.

- Added dot animations to Battle for Earth wizard mode.

- added "Push Start" button graphics when credits exist.

- Battle for Earth level 2 jackpot speech is now less repetitive.

- added new Stern logo with register R to attract mode

- fixed text on the third shot of each hero (advance hero rule)

- added center spinner display effect.

I play towards all vs modes and not finish them on purpose so multiballs last forever.

 

The shots are satisfying enough when you keep making them, so keeps it interesting. And if I can pick off 25X along the way then good.

 

From what I read, it's all about some small bug fix, and making some stuff easier to achieve and a lot of Battle for the Earth stuff. Hands up who gets to BFTE all the time?

Ha. I was more boring than that - on the one I played I was looking at 1/5 or 1/7 Clean shots to the Black Widow actually making it to the switch to register (Nate's is different, BW is a delight to hit, and I'm sure yours is the same.)

 

So I went Hawkeye all day till one or the other of the MB's. If it was the Hawkeye VS BW mode, never completing and instead working the Bonus Multipliers and what not from the Secrets of Shield standups. At worst when you come out of multiball 4 shots to another. And then keep doing the same thing.

Only 30MB, installation is about 5 mins.

 

This has made a good game into an awesome game in my opinion. Lights are better, some new call outs, VS modes are adjustable, and i recon the lighting has improved in these modes. I reckon this update has made the game much more immersive - sort of like LOTR in that you feel as though you are part of, or making the sotryline. The fact that there is more adjustability in the menus, particularly in VS and qualifying modes, means the end point is a bit more achievable to the more average player - i would pitch it about the same level as POTC, Spidey or MB - in that the Wizard mode is achievable now, but not too easy.

 

Great new animations in Assualt on the Helicarrier as well - i finished it for the first time yesterday, still needed 2 more characters completed to get to Battle to save Earth on a game this morning!

 

Love the fact Black Widow can be collected via spinner - now i find Ironman is the hardest shot in the game

Did you do the following?

 

Download .bin file to usb

Insert USB to machine

Switch dip switch 8 to other position (can't remember if its on or off)

Power on, follow menu prompts

Wait for code to be written

Remove USB

Dip switch 8 back to normal

Turn off and on

If only that was an option! At best I can get the guys to fix the things slightly up the scale from those breaks that make the game unplayable (turned off). Couldn`t believe it when playing @Audioenslaved's at the league meet and getting to BW VS whatever? (Hawkeye?).

 

A tight and mighty fun shot indeed!

If you get the Black Widow VS mode it's against Hulk. Hawkeye's vs mode is against Black Widow.
