fr_303
Hi I tried running Maximus tonight, but I get this error message come up "The following emulators have invalid media locations: MAME The items listed above will not be available until the executable and media locations are fixed" If I run them through mame they work fine, Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there anyother frontend software that I can use?
Administrators Brad Posted April 13, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 13, 2014 You need to configure the paths in Maximus arcade to point to the relevant mame directories. You would need to do this in any other frontend you used. Cheers, Brad

I installed mane straight to c:/ So rom location is c:/mame/rom. Can't see what I have done wrong

Is there anyother frontend software that I can use? The error states "invalid media locations" Media is normally snapshots, cabinet shots, marquee images etc. It's been a while since I've setup Maximus but these are optional. If you don't have them or don't want them you can turn those off. It says items listed above you haven't told us what they are? Also are you running Windows XP or Windows 7?
