Forgot to put this picture up yesterday of the boxes of assembled flipper mechs.

Our new waterfall painting room was delivered this morning - we need to add air filtering on the extraction side, build a 1.2M extension in front and add air in filtering as well as suitable air outlet ducting. We will also build a lightweight gantry system so that cabinets can easily be slid into and out of the painting room by one person.

Having this part built for us saves a lot of time and effort as the hard parts are mainly done.

Great work on the mechs. Are these boxed up for storage before fitting or to be sold separately? Sorry for my ignorance but what are we looking at here with the box? Is waterfall painting a particular method? Cheers.

I was thinking the same thing - I just googled it
The water catches the overspray and acts as a filter

As we are finishing assembly of mechanisms we are packing them so they are dust free when we go to use them. At this early stage we are not looking at selling any of these parts but getting them ready so that everything comes together when they are all finished. It's amazing just how much dirt and dust gets on stuff even after a couple of weeks.

Thousands of flipper buttons = thousands of games

I've gotta say, this is one of my favourite threads. Really interesting getting all these insights into TAG and the attention to detail for standardised parts for future releases.

Thanks Mike - a good work ethic and shows the care you are taking.
