Nice pick up! I've never seen HDMI on a CRT either! How big is that? It looks 68 cm, which is still a great size for light gun games.

Got an old Panasonic to test out my light gun setup with two fat PS2's. Should be good for linked co-op play either with another TV or on my candy cabs. Also got a boxed Japanese Pokemon yellow, will look awesome once i get the others.

I picked this Apple //c up a week ago in the Blue Mountains for nix, nada, nothing, zilch.

It just needs new ram and I gave it a good clean. It came with the original power brick and power cable, a colour composite adapter and a few disks including 4 boxes of unused ones.

We just had to drive 5hrs to pick it up.c8603da29ef4ca3c5ee1ba4916b2130a.jpgWe made a weekend of it and went to the Clarendon swapmeet on Sunday before we came home. I've really got to thank Angela my Wife for doing all the driving.

And now. Sweet as a nut.

Not overly retro but the games are supposed to be. It's one of those el cheapo dvd players that has two nasty game controllers and a disk that has 300 games. I found it in a box in the shed a couple of days ago.

Game number 3 made me laugh.87d83ae387f85c715700590b5ad2bdd4.jpg

It's probably a sequel to game 8.😆

Picked this up off Todd Tuckey.

It's the Japanese version of the Grand Champion manual which has never been scanned in so it's not available online.

More schematics, much larger and clearer print.

You can see the difference compared to the original manual that is currently available online.

Not exactly retro console stuff, but still retro. Had a good run at the markets this morning. Picked up a BWD 539C 1970s oscilloscope. No probes or anything else with it, but it turns on, I get two dots on the screen and I can adjust the focus, intensity and position of the dots. Also grabbed the three Caroma stools, which now brings my Caroma count to 15 or so. Can never have too many Caromas :)

The Caroma gods are smiling on me! I picked up my very first Caroma table today. In absolutely beautiful condition, not a mark on the bloody thing. No idea how it made it through the 80s in such pristine shape. For those that don't know, the base is just the same as any Caroma stool base, but it has a wider table top that can be removed the same as the stool tops.

I know this is for arcade gear but how could I not post this, it's so Funky. 1970s Copal Flip clock radio and it works perfectly. 😉

It'll be going on the pcb repair bench, when I get a bigger bench.
