Great pictures, some very old stuff there, also they are US pictures not English, the price per game is in cents instead of pence, and the uniforms are US, look like Navy?

Have always loved the history side to pinball and arcade. Even in these shots - things such as 1 cent a game (Penny Arcade), military men in uniform during a World war, men in suits, women dressed up, no flippers on the pinball machines....will be getting some of these printed and framed for my gamesroom :)

Love the Chick in the chicken wire cashier booth , something weird with about those photo's. :confused:

Great to see them captured on film.

Amazing to think....even when I was a little kid..can still remember Luna Park penny arcade and how there was not one single game that had a computer inside it...

Times really have changed....

great pics tony ,i,m sure they would have had heaps of fun with the pinballs in those days ,the chick with the fur coat is hot ,also the chick firing the gun!

Great photos.I cant help wondering how many of those young people made it through WW2.

I love the photo of the two guys with their helmets slug on their shoulders playing the pins, what a timeless shot.
