Where can I buy resin?

Recommended Posts

I've got an idea I'd like to try... I'm thinking of removing the centre of a pushbutton, chopping the tail end off it, and filling the 'tube' with a clear (or translucent white) resin.

A USB extension cable would be carefully positioned in the middle of it.

The end result would hopefully be (easily) externally mountable USB sockets for mame/arcade games.

Where could I find a cost effective, convenient source of resin, either clear or translucent white (ie lets some light through). It would need to be runny enough to pour into a button (size of a film canister). If it was thick like honey I don't think it'd work too well.
