Cheap Defender Project????

Recommended Posts

It looks like an early Williams defender.

It has a Silver williams door, the early williams defenders used the same door as the pinball machine and last in the production they moved to a modern black door

front has been repainted and most likely the sideart also missing monitor bezel

Definately a Williams Defender cabinet.

Someone is going to get a good score there!

Its already looking like a 3 way battle. :071: :021: :062:

Now play nice guys, we cant all win it

The only fair thing is to back off & leave it for me :023: :098:

Just looks like junk to me.

You either have no vision or lack the skills to restore it.

It would have to be in VERY bad condition for me not to restore a cabinet like that one. And an American cabinet in a foreign land is worth saving.

Good luck to the winner.

You referring to mine?

Do you ever have anything positive to say?

I went through your recent posts and all you do is bitch and moan. How the fuck did you become an admin?

I used that coindoor because putting in an original that used Quarters is no good to anyone outside the US who wants to site a machine. And besides, when a machine is sold as being NEW, they don't want a beat up old coindoor right in the front do they?

Fffftttt.

First question Ans. No

Second. Site wouldn't exist the way it is if it wasn't for me . Any other dumb arse questions?

You were crapping on about restoring..well that implys keeping things as close to original as possible that includes the hardware inside the cab right down to the control panel and coin door, and fuck yeah I'd use a beat up old coin door as long as it kept the look as close to the original as possible, if it couldn't I wouldn't do it.

Obviously you and I have very different opinions on what "original" state means.

I fully admire and respect the cab you built make no mistake.

As for the above comments, I was having a joke with my mates, my apologies if you're offended easily....well not really.

Oh yeah,

Now I see what you mean. LOL.

You have that right door and the silver is wrong. Heh.

Sorry fucker.

I have an original Defender which I purchased from Hamish, with a silver door :p, only thing new on it is the CP has been replaced with a replica.

The one I built was always going to be for sale and use a Multi Williams CP and board. It was built to 'look' like a Defender. And besides, only collectors would care not Joe Public who wouldn't know shit.

As for the site, nice one.

Now you should wish that Defender cabinet on ebay goes to one of the fellas here who will make it 'look' like a Defender again!

You still bitch and moan too much though.

Muwahahahhahaaaaaa

I may even do a restore doco for it too.

I can't believe it turned up right when I was about to start a new cabinet build.

One more game to find now - Battlezone.........spotters fee paid......
