Sonny Bill, Loath Him or Luv Him?

Recommended Posts

As a Bulldog's fan, I gotta say that he has been a major white elephant thoughout his short career. When he plays, he plays great...when he plays. He is probably the most ingery prone bloke in the games history for some reason. Although, the current hinting at him faking ingurys seems to make sence.

He still has 4 years left on his contract, and if he breaches that, then he should get a life time ban. Otherwise, contacts will become a joke.

If NRL wants to survive, it has to do something about the salery caps. Like if a player plays his debut game with a club, then he is exempt from the cap whenever he plays at that club. That would encourage teams to have a juniors program, etc.

SBW's an awesome addition to Rugby League. BUT,2 things to remember here.

1) No player is bigger than the game, despite what paycheques say

2) A man honours his commitment. Players want to be released from contracts because they get better offers elsewhere. How about putting something back into the club that helped you get so good. Talent is one thing, but the support offered to these players from the clubs costs the clubs time and money which could be spent on other players. You owe them something for that.

I really hate people getting all shitty with players who leave a club after there contract is finished.

You would swear some supporters think they own a person. :x

SBW is a complete smacktard either way you look at it :o

What do you exspect when you get mixed up with compelete fuckhead mundine.

IMO Mundine and Llyton Hewett are the same....

We love to see them win because its like "YAY! The Aussie kicked arse"

and

We love to see them lose because its like "YAY! The knob got his arse kicked"

Either way, we win !!! Which means more bums on seats = good for the sport

Its his life, his choice. He's gone to the highest bidder (poached, renegged on a deal, traitor, call it what you want) good on him, he'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Sport nowadays is a business once you turn professional! :rolleyes

JT is over rated IMO and should never have won his last Daly M medal.

What sort of example is someone who boots the ball in the oposite direction from the opposition when a penalty is awarded against him :x while clearly saying "FUCK OFF" Not someone I hope young juniors look up too.

He's not going overseas because they wouldn't want him to begin with.

BAHHH !!!!

League should be all about what it actually is .... Players playing the sport because they love it .. not because of how big a paycheque they are getting.

Whatever happened to the days when nearly all rugby league players had normal week jobs as well because league was a sport they played on weekends and even though they got paid it was still nothing near the ridiculous contracts we see today...Would solve the salary cap problem too !!!

To SBW I say good riddance.I think that because he dis-honored his contract with the Dogs they should make the contract null-and-void (that would include reclaiming ANY payments they gave him from the start of the contract) and let him go.

Can't wait to see him try and put the shoulder charge on some of those big Frenchies only for them to turn round and snap him like a "fookin' twug" (KIWI ACCENT).

P.S. - Mundine is a :cockhead:

My only problem is that he buggered off while under contract. Wait till the end of the contract and he can do what he wants. Untill then he's the Bulldogs bitch (Pun intended).

Best thing that ever happened to the doggies i say.

SBW's was one of the most OVERATED players in the NRL.

The guy couldn't even put in 3 games in a row without some injury that would see him sidelined for months on end. :x

Whatever his price tag.... a huge waste of money IMO.

Now my bulldogs will have some extra cash to throw at a better, more committed player :)
