Happ Shipping Options

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered anything from Happ, the only shipping options available (apart from FedEx) are USA ones, and on the FedEx website they quoted me $166 to ship a power supply!!!

So if you've bought something from Happ, which shipping option did you select and how much did it cost?

Cheers

I've purchased items from Happ, but it has been a few years since my last order. Stay up late one night and give them a call. They will put you through to a sales rep who you can talk to and organise shipping options. That's how I use to do it.

Johns-Arcade.

Never

ever

ever

ever

allow them to:

split an order (they don't make it very clear that = shipping x number of splits)

or

ship from 2 warehouses for 1 order (that too is 2x shipping for 1 order)

I suffered from the first one (hey, a checkbox that saved me the wait for 3 weeks for a backorder...)

A friend suffered the second. He wasted a lot of time fighting the charge, as he was not notified until the CC bill came (before the order mind you).

Both are not 'OMG scammer' behaviour by HAPP, but just pure evidence that the fineprint (if you can find it) need be read properly for your order.

HAPP are just not great at dealing with consumers. Their 'consumer' prices show they don't want you - most often higher than local prices for the same products from HAPP - who are happy to sell wholesale at realistic prices.

My shipping ended up being $97, on an order of $102.

Those are USD too, and back in the $1Aus to 67cUS days. Ouch.:x

They still have a tempting site with doodads that are hard to get elsewhere though :)

Have found Happ gear can be had a lot cheaper on ebay.com rather than direct from Happ.

Yep - I've just been looking at getting a couple of steering wheels and the ebay seller was selling at $5 below Happ listed prices.

Shipping was quite reasonable too.

But, not ALL the HAPP catalogue is on ebay though...:(
