Ball missing prob ?

criss

Question

Now and then my rocky and bullwinkle in the midle of a game will shut of for a second and say ball missing and restart a new game .

Any ideas of where i should start looking first ? Any ideas would be a big help

Now this is only once every 50 games or so so not realy a prob but after it did it while i had just broken the high score, its now is a prob . Yes i wanted my name sitting above all those not in my league and now i must endure the shame of second place on the leader board :redface

Cheers

I would check the ball trough where the balls rest, their is a micro switch for each ball to detect they are all there. Not having a rocky and bullwinkle myself im not sure it could be a bad switch or dry solder joint or even a bad connector of course you could check with a mulitymeter but it would be a good place to start

If it's restarting a new game, this sounds like something is shorting to your switch matrix. Not just a ball missing.

Since the ball missing comes up, I'd start on the ball trough switches, look it over for obvious shorts of wiring on switch lugs. Be sure nothing on the top of the coin chutes is shorting into the ball trough switches when you close the door.
