Brisbane Airport Machines

They are in bad shape. The displays on all of them are buggered to a certain extent. Machine are filthy, flipper rubbers with chunks out of them, etc.

The only half decent machine was Lord Of The Rings. The main problem with it was the plunger was so stuffed, the ball couldn't even get into play.

I had to spit on the shaft of the Plunger as lube, even then it took a few goes.

Makes me wonder why the operator even bothers. The first dollar anyone spends is there last. If the machines were in good working order I'm sure the average Joe would spend 3 dollars instead of 1.

Most people in business have NFI, in my opinion. This collection of shit heaps does nothing for the pinball image either.

we've had a few posts on this, does anyone know who operates them, I'd gladly give them a ring. I played taf on Sunday and actually really enjoyed it but yes the pins are in bad shape and have been for some time, the videos need a lot of attention. Freddy were you playing it Sunday morning? I watched a guy with that rooted plunger doing his head in, pretty funny but not a good image for pinball. I always had the impression from the guys I deal with that airports are primo sites, you think they'd do better.

At least they worked.

I was down in Melbourne for the GP went to the arcade at the Melbourne airport to have a game of Adams Family put my Money in and no ball came out. I then noticed that there where 6 other credits in there.

It is funny how bad the arcade machine graphics look now compared to my 360 on my plasma.
