0 DevoDave
Good for low bandwidth audio/video stuff. Digital stuff is a different set of equipment.
0 backflipper
A 40Mhz cro is plenty good enough for most older arcade pcbs and certainly good enough for low bandwidth video. Bit late now anyway its finished!
0 RaMpAgE
I've been watching the auction sites for a while now for oscilloscopes. what do I need to lookout for and specs etc before I commit to buy? cheers
0 serviceit
At the end of the day it comes down to you and how much you want to spend, and what you want to do with it, dual screen, storage, etc I really like the usb scopes now, they plug into your laptop, so they are fairly cheap with good features and easily portable. The minimum is 40mhz and if you can afford it go higher. I have a hand held one, but i really like those USB plug ins. 150MS/s USB PC-Based DSO-2150 Oscilloscope 4ns/div these are on ebay $210 would have these over the conventional scope any day. 0 David_AVD
I have a couple of the BitScope units. One of the original ones plus a mini one. The software is a bit hard to drive though.
