[Newcastle,NSW] - Pinball -> Restoration Project

Recommended Posts

I know, I know, this is something that EVERYONE wants, but, I thought I'd ask and explain myself, and see how things go :)

I've been an arcade guy for a long time, recently got a machine donated to me courtesy of someone very nice on this forum, and have spent the last months restoring it from a "ghetto cab" with nothing in it -> fully working and very nice looking machine .. its been a fantastic experience, and great learning to do that work..

What I was hoping, would there be someone kind enough to be able to help me out start on my very first pinball project! Now I'm not asking for it for free, and I'm not asking for something that is even close to working.. infact, the more beat-up and damaged it is, the more of a challenge it will be to restore and repair, its that kind of fun that I'm looking for, rather than just owning a working machine.

I can pick up as far south as Sydney and I guess the same distance North, from Newcastle. Basically, I'm looking for someone who might have a beat-up damaged pinball sitting spare, that you're not going to get the time to restore and might be interested in forwarding the project to someone else to take care of..

Let me know what you've got anyway, it can be any kind, EM or newer, I really don't mind, I certainly won't be fussy! Send me a PM with where you are and how much you'd be willing to let it go for, and hopefully I can help bring a pinball back to life :)

Thanks for your time reading this anyway :)

Hi rozza,

Welcome to AA .Perhaps you should make a thread in the intro section and tell us a bit about yourself.

If you are wanting to get rid of a pin then perhaps you could post some pics and a price and you may well find a buyer on here ( to be fair though VIDguide should get first dibs :) )

Lol, thkx for the thought :)

I did however end up picking one up some time back, and begun my project :)

However since then I have bought a house, and the house has no garage (yet!), so sadly, my project is on hold until then :)

Good luck finding a home for it tho, i'm sure it wont be to hard!
